Maine boy’s body pulled from river

Minor Topics HQ sits along a river, and we’re ultra-paranoid whenever our children go anywhere near it. Stories like this doesn’t help. Poor kid.

Divers have recovered the body of a 12-year-old boy who fell into the Saco River and was swept away by the current.

The Maine Marine Patrol said the body of Raymond Rivera of Saco was found Sunday 14 feet below the surface, trapped in debris that had accumulated on a sandbar.

the students of ola(a school that raymond attended) misses raymond very much
we ask that people stop writing rude comment because raymond was a loving kid and so was his mother and his father even though he wasn’t involed in raymonds life.Raymond was a very funny,smart,and a wonderful person.His friends and family mourn in his death ,as life goes on we all should remember that life is very special and we should all cherish it. we shouldn’t jugde those who may not be as bright as us.Ola will alway remeber you no matter what may happened.

None of you people were there to watch what happened! We were there! You shouldn’t be saying that Raymond’s mom is a bad parent! She didn’t know where were going! If you are to blame anyone it should be me! Or people that don’t take there time to put fences up! I’m tired of everyone acting like they know the story about what happened! If anyone was to know it would be the 2 people that were there! If you weren’t there to save his life then you shouldn’t be saying that people should have went in to go get him!!! I would really appreciate it if you guys would stop leaving rude comments! You have to respect! My family would do the same if you were in our situation!!!!
