Roommate suspected of killing infant

I do not know anyone involved. But from what I am hearing you n eed to look into this more (freetyson.com)
the baby’s father is a violent ex-con. The mother & father have been know to fight with the baby in their arms CPS was even called before. They have a big fight right before leaving the baby with the babysitter. Heather, Robert (the parents) and baby Easton were all left at the house while fighting. No one knows what happened but there was blood in the garage as a result. Then the mother & father decide to leave the baby & go to a hotel!
It is VERY likely that the baby was dropped or injured during the fight & then left with the babysitter. Tyson (babysitter) found the baby at 3A with vomit all over him in the crib. While bathing him he turned to reach for a towel & the baby fell under the water so he performed CPR. Vomit is a sign of head injury.
I find it strange that two greiving parents would then go back to the house where this happened & take a baby’s crib, tons of clothes, jewelry, a 62# tv while they are so distraught about their baby.
Tyson & Chalice have a daughter of their own who is happy & healthy with NO injuries.

I have known Heather (the Mother) for years and she is a very, very good mother and Easton always had a smile on his face and I have NEVER seen any signs of abuse (bruising, scabs, or otherwise) on him. I dont know about any kind of CPS issues, and I hope that “Mary” isnt just spreading rumors about Heather because she is a friend of Tyson or Chalice. Even if Heather and Robert were fighting she surely would NOT have allowed Easton to be hurt as a result. I am not denying that Heather and Robert have had their problems but she would not put Easton in the middle of them. There is alot more to the story about Tyson and Chalice than has been said here. This is steven lee, robert lee’s brother. No my brother does not have the best past, there is no denying that, but, he would never do anything to hurt a child and especially his own and i was not there so i don’t know what happened, but, my sister was and she has never been in trouble in her life. She was the last person to hold baby Easton before she gave Robert and Heather a ride to the hotel, and she handed Easton back to Tyson, he did not have a scratch on him and he was smiling as always! Had Robert or Heather accidently dropped him on his head they would have brought him to the hospital, come on now! and all you stupid motherfucker’s that don’t know anything about my brother or heather need to shut your god damn mouth’s! it’s not like robert and heather are accusing tyson, they arrested him based on evidence! thee arrest has nothing to do with robert or heather! and who says robert or heather stole anything from the house? they went there and got their stuff! anybody could have gone in the house, and by the way the cops were there with them while they were getting THEIR things. They were given permission to go into the house and the landlord came and unlocked the house for them, it doesn’t matter if their names were on the lease, they were living there and all there stuff was there. And by the way, Heather never even went back to the house! she said she didn’t feel comfortable going back in there but somebody had to go back, they needed clothes to wear, and all their personal items! Oh and by the way u guys need to get your story straight about tyson! he also has a shoplifting charge, and you all know just because someone has never been caught for certain things does not make them an angel! i know plenty of ppl. in prison for bad crimes, doesn’t mean they would ever hurt a baby, as a matter of fact they hurt ppl. who hurt kid’s! that’s all i am gonna say!

Most times when I read the articles here, I have no problem believing the alleged perps are in fact guilty. But this case has struck me differently and my gut is screaming that the wrong man is in jail.

One thing about crimes is that somewhere within them, as crazy and as unusual as they might sometimes be, there is something about them that makes sense as to why they happened, whether it is the mental condition of the perp, something about the circumstances, the dynamics of the relationship between and victim and victimizer, etc.

This one does NOT make sense to me as presented. Again, you have parents that have a completely fucked up, abusive relationship, numerous calls to CPS, reported neglect of the child by the mother, child abuse using drugs (and who knows what else) by the father.

On the other side you have a man that is loved by all, has no criminal record, is described as a man that will give you the shirt off his back even when he’s having difficulty, adores his daughter, and was reported to love Easton as his own and care for him when he was ill when his mother would not (she was apparently too busy watching myspace to see who her abusive boyfriend was talking to.)
There are reports that the parents were known to fight with Easton present and they were fighting with Easton present when Tyson took his family out for a meal. They were both reported to have scratches (as did Easton) and were alone with him for a time before Tyson returned.

So what makes sense?
A responsible man who is loved by many, is reported as extremely compassionate, responsible and has no history of criminal activity or violence just up and kills a baby,

or

the baby (who is seen in pre-incident photos to have bruising) is a victim of an ongoing, completely fucked up and extremely abusive relationship between the parents?

OK, a little more about head injuries:
Doing a quick search I found a scientic paper that stated that head trauma in babies can be severe yet not outwardly visible. I also found this on a page at peacehealth.org regarding shaken baby syndrome, which can also include not just shaking but trauma to the head:

“Symptoms vary among kids based on their age, how often they’ve been abused, how long they were abused each time, and how much force was used.

Mild injuries may cause subtle symptoms. A child may vomit or be fussy or grouchy, sluggish, or not very hungry. More severe injuries may cause seizures, a slow heartbeat, trouble hearing, or bleeding inside one or both eyes.

It is important to get help if something doesn’t seem right with your baby. Shaken baby syndrome may cause only mild symptoms at first, but any head injury in a young child can be dangerous. A child who has trouble breathing, is unconscious, or has seizures needs hospital care right away.

Symptoms can start quickly, especially in a badly injured child. Other times, it may take a few days for brain swelling to show symptoms. Often the caregiver who shook the child puts the child to bed in the hope that symptoms will get better with rest. By the time the child gets to a doctor, the child needs urgent care. In some cases, the child may be in a coma before a caregiver seeks help.

Shaken children may also have other signs of abuse, such as broken bones, bruises, or burns.”

So, it seems in reality and depending on the severity of the injury, it can take anywhere from a few hours to several days for something to show up. Taking this into consideration, I feel it is entirely possible that Easton was hurt during the time when Tyson and family were away at dinner and things unfortunately went south after they returned and the parents left to go to the hotel.

oh and by the way tyson and his family never went to dinner you idiots!

The mother and father did it and they are letting tyson take the blame.
They are bad parents and didn’t care about this baby.
They were to busy worrying where that next drink/drugs were coming from.
Poor Tyson is sitting in jail innocent as can be while the real killers are out stealing from Tyson and enjoying their freedom.
Well let’s just hope they will be in jail soon and Tyson will be free as he should be.

Tyson doesn’t have a whole lot of family besides his sister and maybe an aunt or two, so all of the people that are posting about him are friends of his and know that he couldn’t have willingly or purposely done something so horrible. For the record no one wants to blame your brother for this either, but think about it, if Tyson or Chalice didn’t do it then the only other possibility for us would be your brother. Last, if they didn’t go to diner that night where did they go, if anywhere?

There are so many supports out there but where is Chalice? I haven’t seen one thing from her in the media. Maybe she was advised to keep quiet but why not support Tyson at the same time if he is innocent? And why did she delete her Myspace page?
On freetyson the pic went from her, Tyson & their daughter to one without her why?

Can you answer any of these questions:

Who performed CPR?

When did Heather move in with them?

Did Tyson & Chalice pass or fail the lie detector?

Did Tyson take Easton out of the tub? If so by what manner?

Because she didn’t want her husband to hate her and leave her.
So she did whatever she wanted, even LIE for him.
