Mother stabs teenage son
With mothers like this one, it’s a wonder how this poor kid wound up in therapy…what’s heartbreaking is that the boy said he never wanted to see his mom again as he slipped in and out of consciousness.
What a horrible, awful woman. Hopefully the boy will never have to see her again, unless it’s behind bars, should he even survive.
Without giving any warning, a Dunedin woman pulled two long knives from her purse and began stabbing her 15-year-old son during a court-ordered visit today at a Largo psychiatry office, police said.
As of this afternoon, the boy, whose name was not released, was being treated at Bayfront Medical Center in critical condition after undergoing emergency surgery, Largo police Sgt. Mark Young said.
The attack happened at 10 a.m. at the offices of Ronald L. Knaus & Associates, 1301 Seminole Blvd., Suite 112, police said.
Celeste Grace Minardi, 55, of 1202 Fairway Dr., had been visiting her son at the office for the last three years, about twice a month, Young said. The teen’s father has custody.
She has no criminal record and has never shown any violent behavior, Young said.
