Rattlesnake bites boy at park
We’re glad MT headquarters is in Chicago, where the deadliest predator you’re likely to find is a squirrel.
A 3-year-old boy is being treated after being bitten on each leg by a rattlesnake at a park near Galveston’s San Luis Pass.
The boy, who was not identified, was walking near some rocks Wednesday morning when he was bitten, said Debbie Giesecke, manager of Brazoria County’s San Luis Pass Park.
The snake crawled into the rocks and escaped, said Randy Smith, Surfside beach police and EMS chief.
The boy’s current condition was not reported.
