Mother who burned baby gets community service

We could maybe see this as proper justice if it was a certainty the infant was stillborn, but as that fact is still up in the air, it really smacks that this chick got away with infanticide:

A New Brunswick woman who dismembered and burned the body of her newborn baby in a fire pit last year will not have to go to jail.

Instead, Becky Sue Morrow, 27, was sentenced in provincial court Friday to two concurrent 14-month conditional sentences to be served in the community. She pleaded guilty last June to burning her baby’s body in an effort to hide his birth…

According to police testimony last March, Morrow had given birth to her son while sitting on her bathroom toilet. She then wrapped him in a blanket and put him in a box.

The next day, she burned the box in a fire pit behind her house, police said.

It was never determined if the baby was still alive when it was put in the fire pit.

Another psycho has appeared out of know where just in time to be freed after committing a murder, she gets her day in court, gets what some call a slap on the wrist, and her freedom. The newborn got the death sentance. The system reeks.

What I don’t understand is why is she still out here? Don’t the justice system care about the welfare of our children? Apparently not in this case.

That woman is a murderer, yet she is not going to prison? Why is she going free if she pleaded guilty to the crime?

Why don’t you guys learn how to spell and learn some proper english before talking about other people.
Reading a 2 paragraph little article does not let you in on what really happened and who she really is.

God forbid one of you know someone who has to suffer from a dissociative like disorder. And I sincerely hope that if it were to happen, you and others would have a little more compassion for them.

The thing you guys don’t realize is that noone knows. She must face the small little town in which she lives. She was disassociated the entire pregnancy. so what, blame the town, her roommates and parents? It reeks of mental illness and for people that cannot understand that, try working in a mental hospital.
