Babysitter puts toddler in sleeping bag and throws him against the wall
UPDATE 1: Babysitter reportedly blamed the death of a toddler she was babysitting on her own, 3 year old son, accusing her toddler son of killing the toddler she was babysitting.

Poor judgement is the understatement of many who wind up killing an innocent child.
I don’t know if people aren’t vetting their babysitters properly or if there are just psychos out there, very good at covering up their psychosis. At any rate, makes you nervous about babysitters in general.
I’m sure the mother is riddled with guilt, although, unless there was a reason to suspect this babysitter, it’s probably not her fault.
HARTFORD, Conn. — An 18-month-old boy has died from a severe head injury he suffered when his baby sitter swung him around in a sleeping bag for fun and it accidentally hit a wall, Hartford police said.
Elijah Gasque was brain dead at about noon at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center after being injured Friday evening in his home on Main Street, police said. The boy was kept on life support overnight as doctors prepared his body for organ donation.
The baby sitter, Yalines Torres, 25, of Hartford, was charged with risk of injury to a minor and reckless endangerment early Saturday morning before the boy died. Police said additional charges were expected. She remains held on a $500,000 bond.

This poor excuse of a woman (hard to believe she is a mother herself) should be locked up and throw away the key!! and lets not forget sterilization as well because some one as ignorant as this should not be allowed to reproduce!!! i hope when she’s in jail her fellow inmates ball her up in sheets and swing her around then let go so she can see/feel first hand that it is not a game! especially for a 18 mth old that does not belong to her! how dare she…

is really heart breaking to play with a child, because the child wanted to play too. A grave mistake she made by placeing the child in a position, and not paying attention to where, how close to a dangerous object she was. She didn’t have to blame her own flesh and blood son, putting the blame on someone she herself should love,and protect. She messed up there also, they could have him taken away from her all togeather.I just hope he will be able to live with a relative.

This is very scary, dumb, and irresponsible. Why would someone older do this to someone younger? This teen is dealing with a baby not a grown up, so why does she treat him like this? There is a huge age difference, act your age!

You’re totally pathetic. She left HER baby in care with that heartless ***** and now you’re saying it’s not HER fault?! I think it’s both THEIR fault! The babysitter and the mother are both to blame for that kid’s death! I hope they both end up in death row if the police arrest their a**es.

WHY WOULD ANYONE WITH A BRAIN CELL,PUT AN 18 MONTH OLD BABY IN A SLEEPING BAG AND FLING IT AROUND????? THATS NOT PLAYING! PLAYING IS SITTING WITH THE BABY AND PLAYING WITH LEGOS OR READING A BOOK OR MAYBE PLAYING WITH A BALL. I WOULD LOVE TO PUT HER IN A SLEEPING BAG AND THROW HER ONTO A BUSY FREEWAY!
