Severely tortured toddlers mom and her boyfriend arrested
A 17 month old boy who had cooking oil, heated in a frying pan, poured on his genitals as well as beaten to the point of sustaining spinal injuries is recovering, but the extent of his injuries and whether or not he’ll be able to walk again have not yet been reported.
Perhaps the boyfriend and the mother don’t know what it feels like to be punched in the stomach by someone 15X bigger than you and have frying grease poured on their genitals and a hair-dryer used to burn off their skin, so I recommend that they find out. If it’s good enough for their baby, surely it’s good enough for them.
We are failing in protecting our most vulnerable. I don’t know what can be done, if anything, but it seems like this happens far, far too often. Once is too much.
And of course! — It happened in Florida. Surprise. Surprise.
The mother of an Apopka toddler severely burned and beaten was arrested today on one count of child neglect, police said.
Marlita S. Stokes, 23, was at work when her boyfriend Darlanne Toussaint, 24, used his fist to smash the 17-month-old’s chest and back, and a blow dryer to burn the child’s skin. The boy who suffered second-degree burns on his genitals, back, chest and head, is in stable condition at Florida Hospital Orlando this morning.
Toussaint was baby-sitting girlfriend Marlita Stokes’ two children at the couple’s home in the 1900 block of Nicole Lee Circle when the incident occurred Thursday morning, police said. The other child was not hurt.

I can’t for the life of me figure out what goes through these people’s minds when it comes to torturing/killing their own children. I honestly believe that people who do these horrific things to children should have them done to them as “part” of their punishment. Then they BOTH need to be sterilized so that they can not have the opportunity to do this to other children. I also think that they need to be “Registered” child abusers and not be aloud within 500-1000 feet of ANY child. Sick bastards!!

I surely do hope the parents know how the baby feels. Obviously they do and sure like it because no sane parent would want their child to go through that… let-alone a 1 1/2 year old. They arent event developed. I hope that lady and her boyfriend learn from their mistakes. Obviously those people werent happy with their own lives that they had to ruin it for their son. NO person should go through life knowing that they cant walk or be firtile because of what their parents did.
This article makes me so angry and I would really look forward to watching this lady die. No one deserves to have that happen to them therefor that B**** should pay for what she did to an innocent child.

i can’t believe any person in their right mind would harm a child. not only harming a child is bad but what they did was unhuman. i think they should be treated like that for their punishment and rot in jail. what horrible, horrible people. not being able to reproduce because of your parents sick pleasure hurting your genatals is heart breaking for the child and any humane person in the world.

This is not to everyone. This is to parents who have abusive thoughts towards their children. You should seek counseling and stay consistent to doctor or counselor visits. You should stay consistent with doctor’s or counselor’s instruction. There shouild be free counseling services availibe, or PSYCHIATRIC or THERAPUTIC services, try the number “411″ for information on “Counseling or Doctoral Services”. They may be able to direct you to doctors professionals or Health Insurance Plans. Free counselor’s could be anybody holding an Associates Degree or more. Free counselores may also be College Interns with more college credits than an Associates or less credits than an Assocites. Free Counselors are NOT required to with hold criminal information. Professional PSYCHIATRISTS and THERAPISTS by the state’s or country’s law are required to withhold criminal information. Meaning criminal infromation, Free Counselor MUST tell to the authorities. Criminal information, PSYCHIATRISTS and THERAPISTS (Doctor’s Degree) must NOT tell to the authorities. Enrolling for Medical Health Plans Is what you need. Do what you MUST to qualify. That will make you a patient of a PSYCHIATRISTS or THERAPISTS.
If you have a history of abuse with your child or children and are not to seeking any counseling or doctoral help, you should consider giving your child up for adoption. A failed parent(s), or guardian(s) is not a parent or guardian who fails to raise the child, but a parent or guardian who fails to give the child the best care they need. The best care they need is love and support, and a positive upbringing. If you refuse counseling or doctoral help, then giving the child or children the best care they need would be to let some one else who is more suitable, and righteous to take care of them. That is the works of a loving and prosperous parent who does not wish to seek aany counseling or doctoral help. They should give them up for adoption. Once they reach the age of maturity they will understand your decision. They will love you for it.
If you do not wish to give your child or your children away to adoption becauase you believe that they may be abused, then you must get help for yourself if you are an abusive parent or guardian. You must seek counseling and doctoral help. Remember, to decline the option of giving them up for adoption because you fear they may be abused, maybe in vain if you yourself do not stop abusing them. The child or children will not leave an abusive situation if you do not stop abusing them.
If you do not wish to seek counseling, doctoral help, or any other method to better your life or your kid(s) life, then another option would be, to let the LAW handle you and your children. Your children will be happy because they will have a happy positive life if the Law get’s involved. Once they reach the age of maturity they will not be mad at you. They will love and appreciate you…. as their parent. They will remember what you did for them. You will not be forgotten by them, you will not be their abuser, but their hero. They will not forget that you chose to save their lives instead.
LAW: meaning to turn yourself or yourselves in to the Police Authorities.
Your children will love and appreciate you forever for what you did for them and what you did for…. yourself, or yourselves.
PSYCHIATRISTS and THERAPISTS are there to make things right as well.
DO WHAT YOU MUST TO QUALIFY FOR MEDICAL INSURANCE!! (My mother says it a crime how much money the medical field has and so many people with out any medical insurance.)
OR
GIVE YOUR CHILD or CHILDREN UP FOR ADOPTION.
DON’T LEAVE YOU CHILD OR CHILDREN IN A BAD SITUATION!

i think that the comments left by all these people should be brought to action… i think there should be some kind of petition that allows torture to be brought on to those who chose to torture themselves. to harm a young innocent defenseless child is inhumane and they should be brought to justice.
i hope this boy lives a happy life and is too young to remember the so called “parents” he had. i hope he goes to another family that will look after him and love him as if he were their own.

People like this shouldnt be allowd to live. In a case like this i feel the death sentence should be brought back. How can a parent feel the need to abuse their children, some people out there are crying in pain because they are not able to concieve and here we have people that are given the most precious gift god can ever offer and this is the way to behave. What can a small defenceless child do to protect themselves, that is why parents are there to protect love and guide their children. The children are the future of this world. I hope to god these two spend eternity in hell. I am legit crying over the inhumanity of this situation. I thank god everyday for having amazing parents, and great siblings. Phsycologically mental parents like those mentioned in this article should be hanged, and that would be a mercy for them. I am going to start an organization of child abuse awareness, for all those poor, innocent children who are killed everyday by their own parents.

this story is awful! i have a 17 month old and i love him with all my heart he is such a precious gift and i just do not understand how anyone could hurt any child wether its their child or someone elses!! why go thru the pain of pregnancy and child birth to have a child and then put the poor buba threw that kind of torture, i pray that this child has a great recovery and can go on to live a healthy, happy life with people who will cherish him the way he deserve to be, my thoughts are with u little man x

I have children and i have also been in jail for other sad transgresions not child abuse what i know about jail is that if these fuckers arent in p.c. protective custody. they will be offed in an.y. minute and you never know mistakes are made and some times these assholes somtimes mistakenly get put in genral population. we can only hope!!!!

sick bastards! they need to feel what that poor baby went threw! it makes me sick! social services came to me about my 11 month old because he banged his head off a door while crawling! a complete accident as kids have! 2 months before that his arm had gone funny in the night hurt him to move it so the doctor sorted it and said it happens to loads of babys turning over in there sleep! we love our son to bits and would never hurt a hair on his head and i had social servives on my back when there are sick animals like them around! hope thy rot in hell!

I started to cry as I read this story. This is one of the worst thinks I have ever heard of done to a child. All I can do is pray for the children who go threw things like this. I can’t help but to imagine this happening to my baby, and It enrages me. The pain that this poor child must have been in, my God. You have to be a heartless piece of s*** to look at a little baby’s face filled with tears as you hurt him again and again. what a monster. I don’t believe in taking a life, But life in prison sounds like the right place for a person like that. They should never give any less of a sentence for any crimes against kids, never. I say lock em up and throw away the key.

My mother gave birth to two beautiful twins in the year 2008.
I looked into their eyes the moment I saw them for the very first time, those babies are goregous. I read and/or hear about babies and infants under the age of 1 year, and how they have been brutaly beaten and/or murdered. Then I look into my brother and sisters eyes, and cannot bring myself to imagine anything of the sort happening to them. You know the expression, “I would take a bullet for you”, well you usually say that to a loved one, or a very close friend… Anyways, You go through 9 months with that child being within you, inside of your whom, and you’re going to turn around and beat that child to a bloody pulp?
What in the world are you thinking about whilest the child is growing within yourself?
Are you plotting the childs death?
Are you desperatly waiting to see the expression on the face of your child when enflicting pain upon them?
Are you planning on hearing the plead?
Why would you put yourself through the birthing process if you’re just going to murder them?
I cry, I mean CRY when I read and/or hear these things, I can’t imagine wanting to hear the cries, the sight of their faces when you take all of your strength and force it to their delicate beings…

And God, torture those who have taken everything from a child, TORTURE them…
I can only hope that one day, these victims will be justified, that they will be able to tell their side of the story describe how they felt, and then imagine, the parents are going to feel bad about wht they had done to that child, but, why is it when they were doing the crime it was a laughing matter?
