13 yr old boy kills brother, 8
This death is clearly the parents fault. A 13 year old boy is not capable and should not be responsible for taking care of 6 siblings on his own.
What a tragedy…
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A 13-year-old boy is facing charges of first-degree murder, accused of killing his own 8-year-old brother. Demetrius Key was arrested late Tuesday night at a relative’s home in St. Cloud.
Police say Demetrius beat his brother, 8-year-old Lavarius Key, to death inside their Orange County apartment.
The boys’ second cousin, Brandon Holcy, watched the arrest go down Tuesday night and painted a picture of a 13-year-old Demetrius who was often left alone to care for more than a half-dozen siblings.

Its hard to really comment on this case because theirs not a lot of information given about this case. But if the 13 year old did coument this crime then he should be held for it but its also the parents fult. This 13 year old boy problem is always left watching all those kids and never has time to just play and be a child that he is. Parents seem to think because he may be the older child, they have to help watch thier little brothers and siter well the parents go out etc. So now the 13 has to be a parent and take resonbilites for those kids. The law is you can not leave a child untended unless theirs someone 18 years or older watching them. So I do think this kid should get treated like a child in the court room and not some stone cold killer.
