The recall includes all Airwalk Compel clogs sold in “prewalk” size 3 up through toddler size 10, and were sold at Payless, Pamida, and payless.com for $13 from August 2006 - April 2007. Payless says you can return or exchange them at your nearest store. And then maybe think about springing for the real deal, eh? Tags: Clothing Recalls, payless shoes |
This is by no means meant to be a complete list of product recalls. If you have specific concerns about an item that doesn't appear here, contact the manufacturer directly.

I know, it sounds weird to think your kid’s shoes could be a potential danger, but Payless Shoesource has apparently found a way. Their recalling approximately 690,000 of their “Airwalk Compel” (i.e., Crocs knockoff) clogs — it seems the plastic rivets that attach the strap can come loose and are small enough to pose a choking hazard. There’s already been one report of a tot that got one stuck in their throat.
