Featured Mominatrix: Monica Brady![]() Monica Brady, owner of Mommy Brain Reports, a product review and giveaway site, and Mommy Brain Life, her blog that gives more insight into her personal dealings as a mom of twins, has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 12 years, and is a work at home mother to her beautiful identical twin girls, Alexandra and Victoria. They recently moved cross country from California to coastal North Carolina and are loving exploring the East Coast. What makes you a "Mominatrix?" I'm damn sexy... no really... my hubby says so! Actually I think I'm a "Mominatrix" because I'm a hard working mom, who is confident, positive and knows when it's time to let my hair down and have fun. I'm working to embrace it. Sexy used to be a quick glance, or a smile, regardless of if I'd just woken up or been standing out in a rain storm. No matter what my hubby says, I don't feel sexy until I've done my hair, makeup, and found a great fitting outfit. Not to mention, the kids have to be in bed. Until they're in bed, sound asleep, I'm a mom... Once they're asleep.. I can "be sexy." Oh, and he still thinks I'm sexy in a pair of sweats... What's a sex life? No, I'm just kidding. Actually, motherhood has made me cherish my "quality time" with my husband more, since we get a whole lot less of it now. I hate that we're often too tired to do anything by the time we get to bed, but we're learning to take more time, earlier in the evening (after the girls are sound asleep) instead of pushing it off until late at night. I'm not sure how sexy this is, but moms, you NEED to take "ME" time. Go get a massage, manicure, pedicure, facial, take a belly dancing class, whatever it takes to relax, get away, and feel like a woman again. It'll help you relax at home and even helps me get in the mood when I feel better about myself. I think it's my eyes, but my hubby believes it to be my neck and/or my um... "girls." Honestly, it has to be one of my hubby's button down shirts. Something about those just works for me... and him.
