| Did anyone see that commercial for the next LPBW and Amy and Matt were talking/arguing and she said something like "Well let's seperate right now"? Was I hearing things? Do you think she was just upset or serious? Of course it could have been taken out of context. I hope they don't though. They seem pretty happy in general. |

| Kennedy, I saw the same episode 3 times today, yes she did say that ,but I don't think she meant it, She has a lot of construction going on in her house, and she does worry more about the finances than Matt does,IMO ofcourse, they do squabble about finances alot, Rightfully so, they have a lot on thier plate, while they were on Oprah the other day, she (Oprah)asked if Amy or the kids wanted to dis-continue being on TLC, would Matt have a problem with it, He said absolutely not, this was a family decision, they all agree or they don't do it, It was areal good interview, very enlighting, about a lot of issues, I think (IMO) they are a lovely family, and they are just down to earth people who struggle just like we all do.have a good nite dear |

Hey Darlene I must of missed that part of the interview. So are the going to continue with the show or was it just a question that if they didnt want to do it anymore, Matt would respect their decision??
I heard Amy say that too in the snippet for next week. And I think she said it because of all the construction and them being quaranteened to a little part of the house. It was probably all the stress getting to her. |

Nah, no way. She was pissed. Man, don't get that rumor started. People will run with that one and it'll be in star mag that Amy and Matt Roloff are going through a nasty custody dispute and divorce.
No offense. I did hear her say that, but she was just upset. Ive said that to my husband way back when probably a hundred times. It's not the right thing to say, because it sticks around with the other person and they ponder" does he/she really want a divorce?" so, we dont fight much anymore thankfully, but when we did, we would say that as an immaginitive way out. |

Im telling you this, TLC could and should have edited that out. Can they have a little spat in private.?
And that my friends is what gets viewers to watch. The more drama and negativity, the more viewers that epi will get. I wish i could have a way to tell, but i bet because of THAT little sentence from Amy in the heat of an argument, the viewers will triple for that episode.
TLC is guilty of showing the drama to get people to watch. They do with jnk8 all the time. The bitchier people think Kate or Mady is going to be....the more excited they get. Our world is corrupt with negative "secrets". It's a dangerous environment tactic. They need to lose it. I wanna see happy happy joy joy.! |

Yes you're right about the way people seem to eat up the negativy. I thought it was probably from the stress too. It is a pretty big thing to say though. |

Amanda, that is exactly what Matt and Amy both said on Oprah, how things get edited,No they are not(IMO) going to serarate,They really love each other, I can imagine Amy's stress with the house make over, shucks, I got annoyed monday just with windows being put in,I told em" get your lil' golf clubs and go play,I was up set with what some one did with my computer, and the house all a mess, Poor ole' grandpa tries to tell me it looks fine, but no,no,no,any way Amanda you are right, ppl always looking for trouble in someone elses world, espically when theirs is so clouded. |

I haven't seen that episode or if I did, I don't remember her saying that. Maybe she meant at the heat of the moment, they needed to be apart so they wouldn't say something they would later regret. I don't know how they argue on camera. I would feel so conspicuous! |

Mary Beth, Amy was upset with Matt over finances, she was really stressed/ with the make/over of the house and every thing it entails, but she said "well Matt should we just call it quits" (paraphraseing) but no, they love each other so much, I reall do like them, and I think Matt should just do some whoop ass and show the kids who is boss. But ofcourse I'm from a different generation, b/c I think the Gosselins kids need a little warming up some times, just like my grand kids, is it gonna happen, probably not (to my grandkids) A swat on the buttocks is just not heard of, it's either none at all, or beat them, Ole' grandma here is just not understanding, OMG I cannot even imagine throwing a fit or standing and screaming like those tups do, or I would have never allowed my kids to do it. Any way just my thinking, Hey happy posting. |

Darlene, thanks for clearing that up for me! I bet she was just stressed out. Nothing like building, moving or remodeling to get the tempers flaring. I think Matt just loves to have a good time with that farm and apparently had a sheltered young life because of all his operations. I agree with you about the discipline though....nowadays it is all or nothing. I used to just give my kids "the look" and they would freeze. haha!
Have a great weekend! |
