Wow, was last nights elimination sad!!! I mean, yes Carly would not be the next american idol but No, I dont believe she should of went home yesterday! I was actually very shocked because Carly had been a favorite of mine in the beginning but I kinda lost touch with her throught the competition.

I really love Brooke and I'm glad she got another chance but she should of been in the bottom 2 last night and Jason Castro should of been standing next to her. His rendition was absolutely terrible and for weeks now the judges have either been laughing at him or telling him that he is horrible. Its really saddens me because the competition is becoming all about popularity. It was like that last year and Simon even addressed it. Even at one point he was considering not going through with the show anymore. But come on now people, you need to vote for TALENT!! Look at Taylor Hicks?!?! Whats he doing with his life?? Nothing! His record didnt sell well at all, so he was dropped from the label. Same with Katherine McPhee. You need to vote for who can be the next big thing and people arent doing that. Hopefully the true talent will make it to the finale. I mean look at Daughtery.. PURE TALENT and he was voted off. Neutral

Don't worry about Chris Daughtry. He may not have 'won' but he's doing just fine for himself. Besides, aren't the 'winners' of American Idol strapped to an AI contract, and the 'losers' are not? He and the record company he signed with can take his carreer in any direction they'd like.
Hopefully Michael Johns will do the same! Smile

Daughtry is amazing. Me and my hubs went to a Nickelback concert last summer and they were the opening band. It was really COOL Cool

They were better then Nickelback. I wasn't impressed with Nickelback that much because they were a bunch of pottytrain4

mouths! Chris Daughtry on the other hand was very nice and soooo very talented!

My fav. is David Cook 100%
I like Brooke a lot too, but you just can't compare her to David Cook. I think she'd be great singing children's music.

I think they may be singing Neil Diamond songs but I am not 100% sure. It should be a fun show though! Can't wait to watch. Very Happy
