What do you guys think of the lastest cycle of Top Chef? I'm still lovin' it. Even though he can kind of be a jerk I love Howie. I'm not sure why. He always makes pork dishes and seems to stab everyone in the back but I like him and want him to win anyway. DH likes Casey he thinks she's cute. |

| Dammit, forgot to set a season pass for this yet again... Even though I have not seen an episode, I'm rooting for local boy Dale Levitski... |

Well since it's on Bravo you can count on a marathon sooner or later so you'll be able to catch up.
I like Dale. He seems nice and has interesting hair. |

I hate Howie. It's not really the backstabbing or the pork dishes (lol) so much as the fact that I can't stand to listen to his voice. I've started muting the TV while he's talking so I don't have to hear it. I was really looking for Hung to be the fun-to-watch jackass of the season, but he's kind of fizzled out.
I like Tre and I'll be shocked if he doesn't make it into the final three. I don't think Sara is going to last much longer. Beyond that, though, I don't have any predictions for the rest of the season-- everyone who's left seems to be on a similar talent/skill level, so it's just a matter of who crashes and burns on a particular challenge. |

I just finished watching Hell's Kitchen and I can only keep up with one chef show at a time. I lurve Hell's kitchen, cause I like to see Ramsay call eff ups donkey. I know, I'm sad.
I thought I could get a Top Chef Marathon and catch up this weekend, but no such luck. I guess I could read the recaps on televisionwithoutpity.com (if you miss a show they do full recaps) and then start watching the actual show. So much TV, so little time. |

| The last epi was LAME! Someone should've gone home. I just can't believe they all got a do-over. Looking on the bright side though, I guess it'll be fun so to see the restaurant thing done again and see what they do differently. |

DH and I LOVED HEll's Kitchen, too. He loved when Ramsey would curse the chefs. I loved to see him when he wasn't yelling. When he's not mad, he's pretty damn handsome.
He'll be on again this Fall with "Kitchen Nightmares" where he helps resaurant owners figure out why their business is failing. He helps them revamp the menu, redecorate the building, etc. I saw the Brittish version on the BBC, but it was pretty tame. I'll bet the US version will be a little more intense with a bit more 'f---s' being thrown around. |

I LOVE GORDON RAMSEY. Dh and I started watching "Kitchen Nightmares" on BBC a few months ago and we fell in love forever. I had only seen clips of "Hell's Kitchen" on The Soup and thought he was such a nasty, mean, asshole, and yeah, he is, but not like I thought he was based on what they show in the clips. The things he says are absolutely hilarious. I guess I like him because he has such biting sarcasm...that's a man after my heart. He has another show on BBC, too, I can't remember what's it called and it's going to drive me crazy now!
The way he is on Nightmares...he really seems to get into it and really wants to see these people turn their restaurants around. I can't stand "reality" shows, but this one, I don't know, it's somehow different to me. It seems genuine. I know, he's still making boatloads off of it just like the other reality shows I like to slam, but...
I haven't seen the U.S. version and I haven't watched Hell's Kitchen. I think I'm scared they'll taint it all for me. |
