We had so many babies born around the same time...how are all the little ones doing?

Katie is so great! I just had her at the doc today and she's 26 inches and almost 15 lbs. It amazes me how she's the complete opposite of Michael in almost every way--how could I have kids that are so different? She's not rolling over yet but is trying so hard to sit up.

Michael is doing well too. He pretty much ignores Katie Smile

I know.

It seems like everyone had babies and bailed on us. I'm sure they're busy, some of our moms are dealing with miniature classrooms they've reproduced. Smile

Can I talk about my "baby". Okay, he's four, but still.

You guys aren't going to *believe* this one, I've signed Graham up for the evil Montessori next year! Montessori and my personality? Ought to be interesting...

Anybody's kids starting school in the fall?

My son will be starting 1st grade this Fall. He's very excited because his classroom will be upstairs (this is huge for him. he knows that all of the older students' classrooms are upstairs) and his Kindergarten teacher moved up to 1st grade so we get her again! (huge deal for me, so he doesn't have to get to know another teacher) I love her!

My daughter will start 3yo preschool, too. She is over the moon about it! And it seems like the whole 3yo class will be full of kids from my moms group, so she'll know girls instantly (she is SUCH a girl! whatever I lacked as a kid, she's making up for). She was ready last year, but her birthday missed the sign-up/cut-off date.

So for 2 mornings a week, it'll be just me and my 2yo girl. Then she starts 3yo preschool next year..... Crying or Very sad

My baby turned 1 at the end of May! We took Somerset for her kindergarten physical and shots this afternoon and they weighed everyone just for kicks. Genevieve, at almost 14 months, weighs 18 lbs. Another peanut. Somerset at 4 3/4 weighs 36 lbs (she was 50th percentile for height and 30th for weight). Joshua just turned 6 and weighs I think 48 lbs. Calvin is 9 1/2 and weighs just a hair shy of 70 lbs and is 4'6!

Genevieve has been walking for almost a month and says mama, dada, ball, and baby (repeatedly! all she cares about are ball s and babies lol) and makes woof woof sounds for dogs and ooh-ooh-ah-ah for monkeys. She will also pretend to feed a doll if I do it first, by touching the spoon to the plate and then the doll's mouth. She also has cyanotic breath holding spells, which is a little freaky and scary but apparently nothing to worry about.

We're off to Gulf Shores to the beach first thing in the morning, after hitting the HP and the Deathly Hallows midnight release party at our favorite book store tonight! Woo hoo!

That must be scary Shocked She's got quite a few words for a one year old! I think at 14 months all Michael was saying is mama and "ahh" for airplane.

and Michael is such a lil' peanut too. At his 2 year check up he was all of 23 pounds with his clothes on and 32 inches. He's a 5th percentiler all the way!

I know that Michael will be going to preschool next year, and while I look forward to having a little breather a few days a week, it makes me sad too! How are you all dealing with it?

Jess, what made you decide on the Montessori school? A friend recommended that I check on the churches and religious schools in the area for preschools b/c some of the programs are really good and sometimes cheaper.

Hi everyone!

Paige is the best baby! I am loving her so much, she smiles and coos and sleeps well. When she wakes up in the morning she is smiling and batting her eyes at us Laughing .

She was 15 lbs at her last checkup (oink). She is on zantac for reflux which helps a lot (no more screaming spells) but she is so spitty and everything I wear is always covered in urp.

She looks nothing like her sisters but exactly like daddy and Jack.

Becky- I had a little pang when Jack first went to preschool (at 3 years) but he loved it so much that I was thrilled with the whole scene.

Jessica- Montessori?!? Is this an elementary school too or just a preschool? I worked in a Montessori school during summers in college and it was so amazing how much those kids could do!

OMG! Katie is the same way. Sometimes I change her outfit 3 times a day. She's always been a happy spitter though. I'm so glad the Zantac is helping. We went through the whole reflux thing with Michael and it's no fun.

And her pic is so cute! I've got to post a more recent pic soon. Paige and Katie are almost the same size--big!
