I splurged and treated myself to a new stroller today--it's my birthday after all
I originally wanted the Combi twin stroller but let DH talk me into the Graco Duo Glider b/c it was compatible with the infant carrier that we already had and was $50 cheaper. Well, I've hated that damn Duo Glider! The only thing good about it is that I can pop Katie's carrier in there if she's fallen asleep in the car. It's huge, hard to steer and I have to take the sunshades and snack tray off to fold it up.
I was in BRU to get a shower gift today and wandered into the stroller section and started testing the Combi with the kids in it and just fell in love
I've already used it and it's heaven. Easy to steer and fold up and takes up much less room in the van. The Duo Glider is destined for the consignment shop!
And, at 26 inches Katie has outgrown her carrier anyway and we need to get a convertible car seat. |

Happy Birthday!
Unfortunatley, the Combi's were always too small for my boys. I'm a big Maclaren fan, but I'm glad you're liking it! I've always thought it was worth it to splurge a little on the strollers. Sometimes $80 can make the difference [in strollers] between a Buick and a Mercedes, IMO.
BTW, I totally thought this was going to be a spam post, LOL. |

I have a Maclaren single that I got with Michael (I think you recommended it to me Jessica!) and I love that too.
We have been getting lots of spam lately, and I can see that the name of my post is a little spammy
By the way, have I ever told you about my ebay store where I sell strollers? Here is the link... |

| I got a new double stroller too and it is f-ing HUGE and heavy but I love it anyway (graco duo quattro or something like that). It's pretty with lots of cupholders, lol. If I am desperate I can perch Molly up on the handles as I push Kate and Paige. I havent tried any of the pricier strollers so I am probably clueless as to what I am missing! |

That is one problem w/ my stroller...no cupholders! It does have a little pouch in the back though that I can put a water bottle or soda bottle in. |
