Everytime our doorbell rings, my kids shout "Ding Dong!" So they all just call the button you push the ding-dong. Well we were driving down our street the other day and my son Kelly shouted "Hey Mom! Our neighbor has a little ding-dong!!!!"
And when we were visiting DH's friend the other day, he piped up again with "Hey Dad, how come Doug's ding-dong doesn't work?" We all turned blue in the face laughing!!!
Everytime I go to our drive-thru Espresso stand in town, my 3 year old Kaitlyn wants me to tell her who served us. Well, we were pulling away last week and she said "I like Marcy. 'Cause she's silly." And I said, "oh, that's nice of you." And then Kelly said "I like Sandy (the owner)." And I said "Oh, why is that?" He said "'Cause she's in charge"
I told the owner that and she said "Finally! Someone around here thinks I'm in charge!" And all the girls working for her inside shot right back with "Yeah. Too bad for you it's a 5 year old that thinks so"!!!!! |
