| Did anyone see the new show "Dirt" that premieres this week on FX? It's about a cut-throat tabloid magazine editor. A little racy. It'll be on a couple more times before the second episode if you missed it on Wed. |

We're recording it, since we're big FX show fans and are rarely disappointed.
I just can't wait until The Shield and Rescue Me comes back! |

Ooh, I like your style.
I've never seen The Shield, but I've heard it's great. I tried to watch Rescue Me, though, but I just got bored with the interaction he had with the dead cousin. I should try to pick it up again, because I really was excited when it first aired. |

I have it Tivo'd and plan to watch it this weekend. It looks good from the promos. A friend of mine watched it already and liked it, so I'm hoping it's good.
I too CANNOT WAIT for Rescue Me to come back on. That's my show. I lurve it. LURVE. IT. |

Well, I thought I'd give everyone a chance to catch a few episodes, before I fish for opinions. What do you think of Dirt? Like it? Hate it?
I like it. Some of Don's hallucinations are a little weird, though. My husband has this uncanny ability to walk in only at the most bazaar parts (a dead Keira giving birth to kittens) and then just shake his head, leaving the room mumbling.
I do like it though. How 'bout you? |

| I like it. It's not at the top of my list, but definatly on my list. The more I watch it , the more I like it, but it didn't just grab me like Nip/Tuck did, so I'm disappointed in that respect. Actually, I think it's rather tame compared to what it [i]could be and much more tame than Nip/Tuck was. Just my opinion. |

I totally agree. Something about Nip/Tuck's very first episode had me entranced from the very start. I mean in that one first episode alone, they surgically altered a guy's face who turned out to be his boss' daughter's molester. Then the boss killed him in their operating room leaving them to deal with that mess. So they threw him in an alligator swamp tied down with hams. All in the first episode. I mean, holy cow, don't networks usually leave only half of that 'til sweeps week and the other half 'til season finale?!?! First episodes of almost all shows just bore you to death by introducing every character. I still stand by my word with season 1 being the best of them all.
Anyway, back to Dirt. I like it. But it's almost the same every week: basically, can Lucy and her team get their "IT" story in time for press date? Yes, they make it every time.
(yawn)
But I'll stick with it. I mean, I don't hate it or anything. |
