After a solid month of unseasonably warm weather, we are supposed to get a boatload of ice and maybe snow this weekend. My kids saw the weather report this morning, and apparently, they are ok with that:
(Harper doesn't seem to care)

LOL!!!! I hope their legs don't fall asleep, waiting on those sleds for too long.
Harper is so big! Babies grow too fast. How do you like the Bumbo seat? |

You know, I wasn't going to buy one-- they seemed so faddish to me, not something that you'd really get your money's worth out of. Terry's mom got her one for Christmas, though, and that sucker has been worth its weight in gold. She's at that age where she really wants to be involved with whatever we're doing, but she can't sit up on her own yet. We put the bumbo on the table when we're eating dinner, she'll sit on the floor and watch the kids play with blocks or cars, that type of thing. You can buy a tray that snaps on to the front of it, and I think we're going to get one for starting solids in a couple of months. We're in the process of ditching our conventional table and chairs in favor of a Japanese style low table and floor cushions, so she would be towering over us in the high chair. |
