So, for the last 6 months I've barely felt pregnant. Other than a few minor infections that caused me some discomfort I was going about my business, forgetting most of the time that I was even pregnant. All the sudden...WHAM! I'm huge overnight, I can't sleep, my back and both hips are sore all the time and the heartburn is here with a vengence (probably b/c Kate is now living right under my ribs).
With Michael I would've happily stayed pregnant for a loooooong time but I can't wait to get this one out. She's hurting me
How is everyone else doing? I hope you are all better than me |

oh no! I'm sorry you are so uncomfortable. Maybe she'll move positions soon and give you some relief. |

Well, that's not very lady-like of her! From what you're describing, it sounds like my pregnancy with my first and he was, well...CRAZY!
Good luck with this one, lol! |

I just think that pregnancy in general sucks and it is only a means to an end for me. I dont enjoy much of it besides getting bigger boobs and feeling the baby move. My varicose veins are starting to get worse already so I can't wait to see how horrible they are when I am 39 weeks, lol. I am sorry you are feeling so crappy. It's hard to be pregnant and care for other children too, very exhausting.
I will say that I have done something this whole pregnancy that I wish I would have done with the others (I did at the last few appointments for #2 and 3, I think). I don't find out how much I have gained at each appointment, don't even look at the scale! I have no idea how much I have gained! I don't care! I figure if there is a problem, the dr will let me know. Ignorance is bliss in this area for me. |

That's the only thing that's going well this time! At 28 weeks I've gained 20 lbs. I gained 55+ last time so I'm on track to stay under 35 which is awesome for me.
I'm sorry for the previous whiny post. I'm feeling much better. I found that by sleeping kind of propped up with pillows behind me but still on my back that my backache and hip pain has really improved. I just can't sleep on my side for long. |
