Liz's repertoire is expanding daily. She knows countless words now and uses them appropriately, words like Katie, eat (and she does sign for that one!), shoes, foot, juice, up, and shit. Yup, it's one of her favorites when something gets stuck or just isn't working out (thankfully for things dropped and spilled she still says "uh-oh"). Alex didn't say dammit until he was well over two and Katie was a late talker all the way around, so Liz is officially our youngest swearer.

Yeah, my older daughter/middle kid is my cussing sailor. She went on and on the other day about "Why I can't say fuckin'? I won't say fuckin'. But why I can't say it?"
My hubby was a little miffed. I shamefully admit it, she hears it from no one else but me.

LOL, PP!! Liz sounds like a hoot! Very Happy

When Owen was like 1 he said "uh oh" about everyhing all the time, all day long. 24/7 it was "uh oh" this and "uh oh" that. One day he knocked over my huge cup of iced tea and says, of course, "uh oh!". In exasperathon I said to him, "will you please say something other than uh-oh?!". My little baby looked at the puddle of tea and then at me and said, "oh shit!".

I just about DIED!!!! Laughing Laughing

Our Jack's worst swearword moment? He was with us in the park and furious about something (can't remember what - probably irate at being told we had to go home), so he says: "Fucking ... fucking ... God!" It was the absolute worst thing he could come up with. So now we've both cleaned up our language in front of him - especially the F-word (he's in school now and this can all get a bit tricky for him), when he's really cross he says "Bloody ... God!"
