My almost-3-year-old is becoming very "aware" of peoples bodies. She notices everything. Sometimes she grabs my shirt and peeks inside and says "what's that?" I'd say "Those are my boobies. Get out of there". Well the other day I was getting dressed, then came out of my room to change the baby. So she scooted right in there to snoop around. A few minutes later she came out, waving my bra around like a flag shouting "Wait! Mom! You forgot your boobies!" Apparently it was my bra she was always so fascinated with when she was climbing down my shirt!
Another time, we were visiting my in-laws and we were all sitting on the couch watching TV and my mother in law had her hands folded in her lap, and my daughter looked over and said "Hey, Grandma! Why are you grabbing your privates?!" My father in law spun around so fast in his chair and laughed so hard I thought he'd pass out! |
