A friend of my dh just gave us half a cooler full of pork tenderloins and chops! Woo Hoo laughing5 its like nearly $200 worth of meat. I'm absolutely giddy! One less meal to plan for several weeks I guess. Mr. Green

Does it mean my life sucks, if I'm this happy over some meat? Laughing

Okay, what's the back story on this?? Why did your friends have half a cooler full of tenderloins (my favorite, BTW) that they didn't need?

In my excitement, I forgot to add the reason I ended up with it Embarassed . Dh's friend's wife was doing inventory for a store chain and the meat brand was changing its packaging, the store was going to throw away all this meat just because the packaging is wrong (nothing is wrong with it at all, it's in date and everything). Anyway they have several thousand dollars worth of meat and they are just sharing it with everyone they know. I have already cooked a teriyaki tenderloin and peppercorn and garlic pork chops. They were sooo good just smelling them made my mouth water. I am not a huge meat person, but DAMN!It was good.

Woo hoo. That would make my day, too.

Too bad there wasn't any bacon in there. Mmmm. Bacon. I could totally be a vegetarian if not for bacon.
