I need a gift for my five year old nephew. I came across this site and the video looked interesting www.woodtoyfun.com Do you think this a gift he will like?

Hmmm, your screen name contains "wilson, CT" and woodtoyfun is in nearby winsted, CT, maybe I'm cynical but I'm guessing perhaps this is not a legitimate question but perhaps a thinly veiled marketing attempt?
If not, then to be quite honest, no it doesn't look like fun -- what it looks like is a lot of work for mom or dad to set the damn thing up to run the marbles the way it does in the video. Not to mention the constant monitoring to make sure the marbles don't end up in a) the vacuum or b) little brother's mouth. |

I totally agree Scott. My son is almost five and he would LOVE the building blocks but I throw away the marbles. No way would I want my kids putting those in their mouths, which I'm sure they would!
That toy is better suited for a classroom type environment or a children's museum.
Get him some building blocks though! Or Lincoln Logs! |
