OK, like I mentioned before, we're reverting back to a more "vanilla" version of the boards, as upkeep with security updates, etc. has become too cumbersome with the heavy customizations. We'll slowly be adding back features as I determine if they will interfere with automated upgrades.
In that regard, are there certain features/elements here that you simply can't live without? i.e., spellcheck, post snippets, profile photos, etc.? |

I personally never use the spell checker (shows in my posts!)...i just dont want to take the time (uh..lazy?)
I like the photos though! please please keep those!
Wish we had even more emoticons to choose from sometimes.
Also, i frequent a different site that does NOT make it easy to format (font, italics, etc...) and it sucks, so dont take that away either! |

Ok, duly noted...
The formatting stuff, bold, italics, etc. are part of the basic features of the forum software, so don't worry about that! |

Yeah, the avatars and signature pics are also standard items, we just had them turned off way back when.
I guess this survey was premature -- probably better to ask this *after* the new version is up, then tell me what is being missed, duh......... I need more coffee. |

| Ok, so what type of stuff would you like to be able to get rid of? That might help us narrow it down a bit. List some stuff, and we'll tell you if we'd miss it. |

How about adding a place for the readers comments and the end of each blog entry? |
