I don't have anything witty to say, but I'm reading other topics to compare my level of disfunction before I rate myself.

I can say that being new to the whole SAHM gig, I thought it would be easier, especially since 3 out of 4 are in school most of the day. If it weren't for flylady, I think I would go insane.

Welcome! If you can do flylady, you're a step ahead of me because I can't do the shoes thing. Wink And I'm just working on number 4, but I work except in the summer and on holidays (I'm a teacher).

Flylady is just one more of those things I do imperfectly. I can't always get with the shoe thing, but I have a very shiny sink and I live my life 15 minutes at a time.

I can do the shoe thing, but I wish FlyLady would cover how clean a white corian sink! It isn't aluminum!

Welcome, BTW Mr. Green

Yeah, I can't really do the cleaning and organizing part, either. Wink

Medea, have you tried a Mr. Clean Magic eraser on your white sink? They work great on bathtubs, so I bet it would work. A paste made with baking soda and a little water is good too. Scrub it, let it sit about ten minutes if there are stains, then rinse it with white vinegar.

Funny that you should mention vinegar. That's what we use to clean most of the house with!

I bought a gallon of vinegar. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Now I can't remember what it was for.

You can clean all kinds of stuff with vinegar. A little added to the laubdry (like 1/2 cup per load) whitens, disinfects, and removes odors. Baking soda and vinegar will clean just about anything.

Welcome! I avoid Flylady completely-- I've decided that it exists solely to make me feel inferior. Wink

I shared your sentiments until I understood what FLY actually meant. The whole, "jump in where you are" concept evaded me for months!
