Thanks! We got it done last week and it was AWFUL! Owen was *screaming* bloody murder, arching his back, slapping me, hitting Ethan, kicking, he was like a demon child  . The photog kept stomping her feet saying in a loud voice "I'm gonna get you! I'm gonna get you Owen!" which made him MAD. And Ethan was getting jealous that her attention was on Owen so he kept saying, "hey, what about me?" or he'd be looking at Owen, or when she was playing an obnoxious game of peek-a-boo with Owen, Ethan would have his hands over his face. I told her not to do that shit. I was shocked, SHOCKED, when we went back to see the results and this was captured. Despite his pant legs up to his knees and his socks hanging off, I was thrilled!
I just wish I could once has decent hair on a day we do pics. Last year my hair was so bad I photoshopped it.   I couldn't get anything to help this year's mess, but the kids are cute so I call it good.
We did not have Portrait Innovations in CA, but I have seen one here. We are portrait club members for Picture People (where this is from), or rather were, it is expired, but they didn't notice last week and I'll keep going back until they catch on.  |

OK, keep going to Pic People until they become wise toya but I swear, you have to try Portrait Innovations. It's the freaking BEST!! The photographers use a hand held camera instead of a tripod so they can move around if your kids are antsy. Also there is an extra person there who is the "player" who gets the kids to smile and laugh. And they take like 75 pics which you can see immediately after the session on their big screen tvs. I think their prices are better than Pic People too!
We are going for family pics in 2 weeks! I hope to get at least one shot that is decent too! |
