hi,
I was on the patch since june. I had given birth to a still born in may.. I wanted to start trying to concieve again. I stopped using the patch in oct the begining of oct.. n I had my 1st period after stopping the use of the patch on 4th of oct. and some spotting on the 14th.. Then I had my 2nd period on the 3rd of nov.. My 2nd period was very irregular, I had a little spotting n some heavy bleeding only for like 7mins in a day. n that was it. I dont know if this is regular after stopping birth control.. It was my first time using any birth controls... I dont know if this is normal or if I might be pregnant.. I also wanted to know if your pregnancy will be effected if you are pregnant right after the stop of using birth controls... Please do let me know.. I worried that if I am pregnant then will it effect my baby.. I will highly appreciate any advise. Thanks |

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss.
I became pg with my second son right after getting over a loss and going on birth control just for one month. There shouldn't be any adverse effects from getting pg shortly after stopping birth control. Your cycles may be irregular. But it is also possible you are pg.
Do you have a doctor who you are seeing? If so, you could get a blood hcg test to see if you are pg?
Good luck. |

| Yes, one probably would be accurate. You should go ahead and take one for your piece of mind. |
