Hi everyone Smile

Just thought I'd introduce myself -I've got a 6 year old boy. Browsing through the forum, it looks like there are plenty of parents that I can relate to.

A little bit about me, I'm 22 and I'm studying Literature and Creative Writing at UBC. My son (Isaiah) is in grade one and learning to read (slowly but surely). He is really creative and loves to draw, but he is also very defiant and enjoys being powerful for the sake of being powerful. His father and I live (very happily) together in East Vancouver.

I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes when I have the time to clean-up the aftermath of dinner. I don't go out with friends much because I spend most of my time with the family or studying/reading/writing.

Hope to get to know all of you soon!

Welcome to the forum! I'm Kristy. I also majored in Lit/Creative Writing once upon a time. Cool I have a boy almost 8, one who's 4, and a 3 yo girl, and recently found I'm unexpectedly expecting again. I'm 33 and live in Memphis, TN. Dh and I have been married 11 years. I teach high school English.

I look forward to chatting on the boards!

Hello, I am Kendra, a single mom to my dd Lauren whose 4, almost 4.5 Sad Where does the time go!?

Oh and as far as college majors, I majored in Business w/an emphasis in Marketing and got my degree 1.5 years ago! Razz
