You might remember a signature quote that I once had:

This blog article just blew me away.

Not convinced? Here's the PDF from the Indiana State Government website. The real scary shit begins on page 5.

If this isn't the seeds of The Handmaid's Tale I don't know what is. Indiana is potentially becoming Gilead and this is scaring the living daylights out of me.

I was starting fertility treatments before I was married. Am I a Class B misdemeanor criminal?

So this will probably not be passed into law...then again...maybe it will.

Normally I wouldn't post something this outlandish, but when I saw the PDF, I had to say something.

Frightening. Looks like a blatant attempt to prevent lesbian couplse from using artificial insemination to have children. Does Indiana also have something in the works or on the books to ban gay adoption, too?

Hey, watch it. At least in the south we have those elements immortalized by writers like Faulkner, Welty, and Flannery O'Connor, to name a few. Indiana (and dear god, Missouri) just has ugly people. rr
