... hubster & I are gearing up for #3 (maybe 4?!?) Question, folks...
Is there anyone here who's had a regular delivery following a C-section? Both our sons were emergency C's. I'm debating on when the time comes whether or not to just have the OB cut on the dotted line, ya know? |

I know several people who have attempted a VBAC and one had one successfully and a 10 lb baby! I think the risks are something you would discuss with your dr, some hospitals won't even attempt a vaginal birth after c/sections.
Good luck! |

Do you mean you think you might be pregnant with twins??
I know that some women opt for a VBAC but some doctors won't do 'em. My sister's doctor told her that it's not worth the risk. <shrugs> I guess I would advise you to talk with your doctor and if he/she feels it a viable option, then go for it! |

| Yes, I would suggest trying to research out stuff on VBAC and definitely VBA2C. I think it's harder to find a doc to do it if you've had 2. |

| Yeah, from what I've been told (don't know if these stats are accurate) the risk of a uterine rupture goes up to 10% after two c-sections. So, that's a 1 out of 10 chance that your uterus will rupture during labor. I wasn't fond of those odds, so I elected a repeat c/s with my 3'd. She was transverse anyway, so it didn't matter. |
