Hi Everyone,

I'm fresh off another parenting board (which shall remain nameless) wherein everyone is constantly at each other's throats over ridiculous trivia and I am looking for a little sanity. What better place than the Imperfect Parent! LOVE LOVE LOVE that name!
I have a 3.5 month old son who tummy sleeps, wears store bought diapers, will start solids in a month and a half and is off the charts growth wise at 20lbs and 27 inches.
I am a 31 year old FTM married to a great guy.
Just wanted to say hi.

Well, hello, Onep! It sounds like your son is doing FABULOUS! Good for you in doing what you feel is right for your family! We do have a lot of differing opinions here and plenty of POV's on various parenting and political philosophies, but I think we [try] to be respectfull of each others opinions (for the most part).

I love the group on this board and I hope you do too!

Welcome!!!

Well, welcome! My ds tummy slept and wore store bought diapers too. He's just turned 3 and not potty trained. Bad mommy! Rolling Eyes
I look forward to "seeing you around."

Smile Hi!
My 10 week old girl sleeps on her tummy and the last 4 nights in a row slept from 8pm to 7am straight thru. She wears disposable diapers and is bottle fed with formula. I followed everything I read with my first child only to figure out every child is different and Mom usually figures out what is best for her kiddo. I even learned that the Dr. isn't always right.
Our Dr. drove us crazy over my son's slow weight gain. He's perfectly fine except that he LOVES pediasure. And he didn't potty train until about 31/2 but he got it right away at that point without any problems. Welcome!
