I was away overnight with my in-laws and returned the next morning to find my garden dug up in various places.

I know it wasn't a rabbit or deer since all the planted vegetation remained intact. The damge was done in in sparse squares that were dug up.

There is what was once a stray cat (He finally has an ID tag) that we dubbed as Thaddeus Crapper since he kept pooping on our lawn all winter (the grass sure is happy). He's been gone for quite sometime and only yesterday did he make his appearence again, this time in the garden.

I now need to resow my cabbages and swiss chard!

Yuck! I hate cat crap in the garden. Especially when you find it when you're weeding with out gloves on, if you know what I mean Wink .We don't have any cats crapping in the garden since we got our big dog, but I do have Heckholes* all over the rest of the yard Mad .

*Heckholes- Holes that my dog, Heck. dug.

I don't trust our strawberries in our backyard. Too easy to imagine what has peed or pooped there, but do you know what's really gross? -- We live on a river and we have tons of geese and goose poop. Those are filthy creatures!

Sorry about that darn cat!

I know what ya mean. A few years back I was at Longwood Gardens in PA and fed a couple of goslings by a pond. The little shits took a dump on my foot as soon as I gave them the food.

Babies or no babies, I have not had sympathy for them since. Well, maybe a little...I don't want to be the one to shoot 'em.

I was attacked by a goose when I was about 4. I was at a petting zoo in a shopping center parking lot, the damn thing just started biting me, I dived under the edge of the tent and it keep attacking my legs (now-a-days that would be grounds for a lawsuit). I still have an irrational fear of geese and I will not let my kids get anywhere near a goose.
