We've started to accept paid advertising, in order to cover some of the costs needed to maintain this website. To encourage the advertisers to reorder ad space, all I ask is that you click on the links and visit their sites.

Today, Phone a Babysitter is running a one-day "test" ad to see what kind of response they get by advertising. It's a free service (they charge the babysitter to post a listing) that offers a searchable database of babysitters in your area. Does it benefit you at all to click on those funny ads at the bottom of the pages?

...oh, and I have a question about the store stuff -- is there a way to see how much shipping is without doing the whole check-out process first?
and have you (or anyone) used those kids silverware sets, the finger puppet ones? I like that they come with a little knife, Ethan is all into cutting his food lately. But I'm a little concerned that the finger crevice would be a too tempting place to shove food into. and how it has little arms that stick out? -- is it hard for the kid to hold comfortably with those? any real life experience on those?


...and one more thing...I noticed that when I put something in my basket and it would show me other things available (the "you might also like these things" page)...well, on that page it didn't reflect the sale prices. The sale prices were only showing up through their own pages. Does that make sense (what I'm describing)? I knew some of the stuff shown WAS on sale, but that page wasn't reflecting it. Someone not as sale savvy as myself might miss those extra items.
