I don't know if any of the people who were posting for awhile are still here, but I could really use some help if they are.
My friend has a 16 month old that earlier this month was diagnosed with a severe peanut allergy. She had a bite of peanut butter on a cracker and ended up in the ER. They did the allergy scratch test on her and ended up having to treat her there again due to the severity of her reaction.
Obviously, her life is going to have to revolve around this allergy. What resources/support is there online that I can point her to that might help to ease the tremendous stress that she is under?
I have rotten food allergies to an array of things. My tongue swells and I get hives particularly on my face. I avoid the allergens as best I can but when I eat out I am naughty and take antihistamines so as to avoid a fuss and I eat and drink what I want. I pay for it with sinusitis and eczema for days/weeks afterwards though. How about you?

I have to ask b/c my children have eczema really bad! What foods give you eczema that worst? We just recently took my son off eggs to see if that would help...we've also taken him off all meats (we're slowly reintroducing them now) and other things. Is there anything in particular that makes your skin worse?
