| I am 33 (grad HS in '93 and college in '97) so the 90's were a fun time for me and lately as my 34th (yikes!!) birthday approaches in September I have been thinking a lot about the wild times I had back in the day. I came across an awesome show on the FUSE channel on my Directv- it is called "Video Yearbook" and it shows the slammin' videos from back in the day 90, 91, 92 - you get the point. Ordinarily I never would've found it, it comes on at 11 AM but when I was on maternity leave I could only watch so much daytime trash so (voila!) I was saved! Anyway my fellow coming of age in the 90's friends- check it out if you get a chance... |

Coooooolll!
I can't wait to give it a try. My friend and I spent the entire Summer of '94 on her couch watching MTV all day, while her single, working-mom thought she was at day-camp everyday. Oh the evil memories........ |

| Oh yes... those were the days. We didn't have cell phones and the internet was just cranking up. I remember one of my college professors gave us an "assignment" to go down to the computer lab on campus and set up an email. What a riot!!! Now I think every college kid has their own laptop to go go! |

Oh yeah. I remeber when businesses/commercials just started listing websites in their ads, and I'd say "What the HELL is up with this 'www dot com' shit? What IS that?"
Now if I see an ad/product with no address listed I say, "Well thanks a lot! Guess I'll just have to GOOGLE it if I want to buy it. Asses!" |
