Do you think the musical guests that were on last night were the best they could've done? I heard they were supposed to have the "Most famous person" on there. George Michael? I lot of younger people who watch American Idol probably don't even know who he is. And Donna Summers? Bryan Adams? I like Bryan Adams music, but man, he's getting old! The Jonas brothers and the "too late to apologize" guys were current "now" artists. I just thought the show was catering to people that are a lot older than the majority of the audience that watches American Idol.

Sorry if this offends anyone over the age of 40.

FYI I'm old enough to know who the musical guests are, I just think they should have had newer artists.

Oh, I couldn't agree more with your assessment.

Why do they have those crusty people on? I'm nearing 40 as well, but those people make *me* feel really old. They all looked terrible and then I have to explain to my kids who they are and why I'm old enough to know.

They need to stick with current artists and they certainly have the money to due. They need to ante up.

I have to say, it did make me uncomfortable when David Cook kept putting his arm around Bryan Adam's neck while he was singing. LOL. (Hey, I like DC, but that was a little awkward.)

Did you gals happen to catch David Cook on Jay Leno the other night? He really is entertaining to listen to. Very quick with his answers and on the ball. He didn't sing though I wanted to hear him rock out again.
