We're Cubs fans and we live dangerously close to STL, which blows because EVERYONE is a Cards fan. Tonight we went to Red Robin for dinner and the Cards/Astros game was on the many TV's scattered around the restaurant. Cooper didn't notice it at first, but suddenly looked up when they showed one of the players (Pujols, I think) and then did a quick falsh over of the Cardinals logo. This is a generally noisy place, but there was a lull in the noise when Cooper pointed to the TV and said in his VERY LOUD voice "Oooooh! Cadinals! Boooooooo!" I swear to you every person in that place turned and looked at us. Half of them wearing Cardinals jerseys. It was so embarassing, but terribly funny. At least he supports his team with a passion. Go Cubs!

I love it!!!!!!!
Yeah, living so close to Seattle and not being a tiny bit interested in the Seahawks kinda sucks. But I'm not as cute and precious as a 3 yo to open up my mouth like that. Good for him!
My sister and I went to a Seahawks vs. Bills game and we were decked out in all of our Bills stuff, and no hubbies escorting us. We nearly got our asses kicked (and NOT by ladies. The men were so agressive. And I swear we minded our own biz and were not shit-talking) |

My uncle used to play for the Kansas City Chiefs (football) and when I was a teenager I did the most stupid thing ever in the whole, entire universe! My parents made me wear a Kansas City Chiefs jersey to a BEARS GAME in CHICAGO!!!!!!
I was literally spit on, I had men throw bears at me and swear at me and I was just a kid. People told me I should have known better but I thought it was completely sick and disgusting. I was a kid and I was basically abused, threatened, harrassed and assaulted. If I knew then, what I know now, I might have filed a police report. Only problem. The Chicago police probably would have treated me worse than the super fans. |

I totally understand the "rivarly" but it is never right to bully someone. Jessica your experience was horrible!
Check out this link of a Red Sox fan at Yankee Stadium:

Holy cow! I've heard the rumors of the "Bleacher Creatures" but never saw them in action. At least I didn't go through THAT at the Seahawks game.
Those Yankee fans can be brutal.
P.S. Jess, I feel so bad for you and your Bears story! |
