Has anyone tried it? A friend of mine raves about it, so I bought some at Trader Joe's yesterday and had it for breakfast this morning. It was really good! I was skeptical, because it is DENSE, but it was very filling and had a great flavor.
If you're not familiar, it's made from grain sprouts and contains no flour (though it does have naturally occuring gluten). It's apparently made from some verse found in Ezekiel 4:9. Some blah, blah about different grains and sprouts and whatnot. I don't know about all that, but they make a damn good bread. If you're looking for something different, give it a try. |

| Is it yummy because it's just kind of a mysterious, traditional adventure or is it yummy because it's damn good? |

Good question. I'd have to say a little bit of both. It's got a really heavy texture and is chewy with a nutty flavor. It's not soft and squishy like regular bread, but if you eat a whole grain or multi grain bread anyway, it's not that different, except it tastes a whole lot better. It's kind of pricey, but so good and incredibly filling. |

| I buy it sometimes. I like it better than most other sprouted grain breads. Dh won't eat it, so I don't get it all that often. My kids really like it for open-faced PBJ's, or spread w/ Laughing Cow cheese and topped w/ shredded carrot and cucumber. |
