My hubby HATES Nip/Tuck. He calls it my show for sinners. He won't even be in the same room when it's on. I absolutely love it. I was 100% hooked from the very first episode. My sister used to watch it, but now she's too busy. I don't know anyone who watches it but me. I need some "sinful support"! occasion5

Prescott and I watch it. He had to convince me this season though because I thought last seasons finale was the most asinine thing I've ever seen. Sometimes I think they try too hard and I hate the surgery scenes, but we're still watchin'. I do think it's funny that the producers/writers are totally rippin' on Scientology.

Yeah, I was really disappointed with last season's finale. My sister thought it was Quentin all along and I thought Quentin was WAY TOO OBVIOUS to be the Carver, so I was thinking a little harder. I thought it was Merrill, the doc who traded his car to Christian for Kimber in season 1. I was so proud of myself until the reveal. Then I was pissed. I wish they'd tone down the gay stuff, though. If my hubby saw the naked kid make a pass in Christian's apartment last week, he'd disconnect the cable for sure! Laughing

I loved the first season, but the second, not so much. I didn't even finish watching. Who was Carver?

The Carver was a serial slasher and a major "whodoneit" plotline in the show. The reveal ended up being Quentin, the plastic surgeon they hired to help out the practice. They used him at the end of season 2 to fix Sean's face when he became a victim. Then they hired him in season 3 as a partner. He was just too creepy and obvious, though. He just seemed like a psycho, so I was guessing in another direction.
My favorite was season 1. Back when Matt was a sweetheart. Now it makes me dread having teens!
And I have to say, it just kills me the way Christian talks about Kimber anymore. He loved her! He's so cruel now.
Oh yeah! Did anyone see Mario Lopez's fine behind? I think I broke my rewind button on my remote! love10

And I'll admit, I was bawling my eyes out like a freakin' baby this last episode when they showed Sean's baby with those deformed hands. I didn't know if it was a real baby with that condition or if it was just makeup and prosthetics. Either way, it makes you thankful for what you have..... Crying or Very sad

I have the last episode on Tivo, good to know I have yet another guy's butt to look at. I think that makes 4-5 butt shots in 3 episodes? And Dr. Troy is on the cover of the Advocate, hmmm, wonder what demographic they are going after now. Not that there's anything wrong with that, lol.

After being betrayed by the train wreck of last season, I'm watching it, but I'm emotionally guarded now -- I feel like I'm starting back up with a girlfriend that cheated on me. Laughing

Aahh, yes Nip/Tuckers. We have been Saved! Can I get a Hallelujah!? This last week (Nov7th) of Nip/Tuck is what I've been waiting for! Finally back to the quality writing of Season 1! When Escobar revealed that he had been plotting revenge for so long, and set HIS OWN FACE ON FIRE, I was floored! Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, and let's hope the show is back on track with its writing.
P.S. I heard on E! News that Joley Richardson (Julia) is leaving the show for a while because her 15 year old daughter needs surgury on her legs. This Tuesday (Nov 14th) is her last episode for a while. (HHmmm. Maybe they'll write into the show that as soon as Sean revealed the affair with the nanny, Julia gets pissed and walks out on him?)

I LOVE Nip/Tuck! The first season was the best one, hands down! The Carver storyline was OK in season 2 (I think) but Matt's issues in season 3(I think) were stupid! It was like the writers said we've got this great character and let's see how badly we can screw him up this season. But with the return of Merril and Escobarlast episode, it was right back on par with first season.

Christen is out of control right now, especially after he took Kimber's amniotic fluid without her consent. What would you have done if you were the assisting nurse???

Yeah, I can't believe Christian did that to Kimber. I was pissed. I was surprised the nurse didn't do more. Let's just say LIZ wouldn't have put up with that!
