When it comes to the dreaded time that I know is coming when I have to offer my kids some kind of religious education, I will take them to the UU church. They take the kids to visit all different temples and churches from Buddhist to Jewish to Catholic to whatever. I do not personally feel that children need some type of religion or church experience, but I do know from experience what happens to kids around here who don't. <sigh> It's going to be hard for me, because religion is just 100% NOT a part of our life in any way righty now. It just doesn't come up, and that's the way I'm happiest.
Lisa, I'm with you on the Quaker thing, though. If I believed in God, I'd definitely be a Quaker as far as I can tell. |
