Cooper and I went to a furniture store today and he was really good. It helped that they had a child play area. As we were leaving the sales lady gave him a pinwheel for being so good. She blew it and handed, it to him and we walked off. He was thrilled with it, but it of course stopped spinning and he was stumped. I looked down and he was turning it around, examining it and randomly poking it with his fingers. He looked up and me and asked "Where's the button, Mommy?" I was confused and asked what button? He said "The button that makes it spin." I just cracked up laughing. I told him there was no button and he looked at me like I was crazy. Toys don't come without buttons! I told him it was "manual" and showed him how to blow on it to make it spin. He was delighted and blew it about a million times. My mom called this evening and he told her all about his "Spinwheel" and that it didn't have a button because is was "manual." My mom thought it was hysterical. |
