I miscarried on Sunday night. I thought I was 11 weeks, but judging by the amount of blood I lost I think I was closer to 12.
I am so very sad.. and embarrassed. I feel like a complete failure. I should have never annouced I was pregnant. Anyway I don't have to worry about getting an ultasound anymore.
I am going to call a gyn. about getting my tubes tied as soon as I stop bleeding. Sorry for being such a downer.

Oh no! I am so, so sorry. You are not a failure! I think it's healthier to tell people you're pregnant, even if there's a big chance of mc. It's better than suffering in silence. I know you really wanted this pregnancy. I'm just so sad for you.

Yes, I did really want this baby. I know it is foolish but I have always thought it was my destiny to have 4 children ( and I did come close). However I have been terrified that something might be wrong with the baby (considering my age) and obviously something was, so maybe it is for the best.

Oh, I am so sorry. Don't feel embarrassed, you are entitled to your grief over losing a baby. How would we know to mourn with you if you didn't tell us you were pregnant?

Have you ever had any testing done as to possible causes for the multiple mc? Maybe you should do something less permanent since you still want another child, and in the meantime look for answers or treatments? I know that's probably too hard to think about right now.

I am very sorry for your loss. And I agree that you should tell people when you are pregnant so they can support you wither way. This baby is real and does not need to be a secret or mourned in silence. Hugs to you. I had a miscarriage over 22 years ago and I still have a part of me that misses him. You may still be destined to have 4 children!

Yes, don't be embarassed! I think you should tell people when you are pregnant. There is a baby in there and you need support no matter what happens. It's no good to grieve alone. I'll be thinking of you.

Thank you for your condolences everyone... and hugs MM.
No, Scout I haven't had any tests done, that is one reason I was looking forward to being in the study... I was eligible, but insurance problems (no maternity) keep me from it even though the study was free ( they would actually pay me a little).
This is definitely my last pregnancy because I am 43 and my dh does not want anymore children. He wasn't at all happy about this pregnancy either.
