This is what my mom got me for Christmas. I have wanted one forever! Mine's black, though. It has dough hooks and everything. Pretty cool. Now I just need to get the stupid igniter on my oven repaired so I can use it.
Anyone else get any cool cooking-related gifts? |

| Scout, I have that exact mixer in white, except it is the 1960 model! It belonged to my MIL who has passed away. My mother also (still) has the hand held version in sea green from 1958! So needless to say that mixer ought to last you a while and will likely be used by your grandchildren. |

OMG, that is so cool! I had never seen that model before. Now I have mixer envy, I just have the standard model that I "conveniently" left off the inventory when we sold the restaurant, lol.
And I've never used it. Every place we've been has had such crappy ovens with temps all over the place, they are useless for baking...
I didn't get any cookware for xmas, but if I *did*, I really want this. But sadly it has been discontinued... |

| Hey, that looks so vintage! My mom used one like that when I was growing up! |
