| That article didn't even make any sense. She wants legislation to protect Christmas for those who participate in Christmas?? WTF?? Anyway, as I said, my opinions on the topic were just my opinions. I think anyone who feels the need to make any sorts of laws about this is batty. |

Damn, I get sick and stay offline for a few days and look what happens!
FWIW, we got a card from the Clinton's (teehee) about 10 years ago and it said "Merry Christmas" but the next year, we got one that read "Happy Holidays." I don't recall anyone making a big stink about that though.
Here's an article on boycotting Wal-Mart for using "home for the holidays"
BTW, as resident pagan (dh and I follow a Celtic path now) I thought I'd throw this into the discussion about holiday traditions:

I really don't see what the problem is with happy holiday cards. That is what a lot of people in business send out.
Now I DID find it interesting that anna's school made a book and she had sentences about Kwanza, Christmas, Hanukka, and Ramadan.
Now folks...Ramadan was like in OCTOBER/November time frame...it has come and gone..it's not a December holiday...so that was a little bizzaro.
But our neighbor is Muslim, and in Anna's class, so I'm assuming that Sarah got to talk about Ramadan in class and they did a little class project/drawing/sentence on it.
I'm wishing everyone a merry christmas..and sometimes I say happy holidays. I'm just joyous!
