Ok, dedicated people! What is your goal for this upcoming week? I meant to start this thread yesterday, sorry!

My goal is to drink 32 oz of water a day and to walk 30 minutes on the treadmill every day.

I think I shall begin posting my weight since seeing it in black and white is a good motivation for me to change it!!

Pre-preg weight: 148
current weight: 157
Goal weight: 135

Hmmm, don't really have any goals except not to cheat and stay within my WW points!

Might as well put the numbers out there myself:

Current weight: 236 (hey, I'm 6'3", lol)
Target: 200

I did lose 2 pounds this past week, but it was just the 2 extra I put on over Thanksgiving weekend... Razz

Hey Scott-

How many points are in an egg? And can you remind me how many points I get? Is it 22?

I did WW after I had Molly and I loved it. I am too cheap to sign up for it now though. Are you doing the online thing or the meetings?

An egg is 2 points. I get 28 points per day, plus 35 "cheat" points for the week, but I think they calculate the points differently based on height/weight/goal. I can't see where I would find out what your points would be without screwing up my profile...

OMG, can you really imagine me going to the meetings?! Laughing I don't need the rah-rah support, it's really just about WW points being way easier than counting calories/fat.

I could never go to meetings either. I loved the online thing.

I thought it was a definite number of points you got depending on your weight and that was it. Maybe they have changed it since I did it. Last time I was doing it I got down to being allowed 20 points a day and that was HARD. Of course I used up all my flexpoints too. snorting

you people are brave brave souls! Posting your weight on line!

Ok, DCH, your points allowance for now is 22 and you have 35 flex points. THey did change it. It used to be you had a range (wihtin 5 points)per day but now it's those extra five points can be used at any time during the week but you cannot carry them over to another week.

When you get to less than 150, your points changes to 20 (but dont forget about those flex points!).

Scott, your points allowance is 28 (and 35 flex points). When you get below 225 it changes to 26. It'll stay that way even at your goal weight (btw...i think 236 doesn't sound that much for someone of your height! dont turn into a bean pole!).

If you guys dont already, i highly reccomend doing the on line site. You can enter you own recipes in and it will assign a points value for you which is cool, makes it easier than flipping through the book and trying to figure it out. you can save your recipes on there, you can use their points calculator and they track your progress for you so you can see a graph of how you're doing. But really I like it for the recipe thing the most.

Good luck! I'm getting ready to start myself back on too. I lost 13 pounds over the summmer and then stopped but now i'm starting back up again (I like to take it slow).

If you like ice cream, the WW ice creams really arent that bad! I have a huge psychological issue with feeling like I dont get what everyone else does (i can't think of a word for that!) so when I get to have little treat here and there, makes it more livable. I live in a family of a bunch of skinny ninny's who eat whatever the heck they feel like without working out and stay skinny. I wish i could be so lucky!

OH, DCH if you have just the egg white, it's less points.

There are lots of things you can do in recipes too to bring the points values down ( i learned these substitutes when kiersten was allergic to everything)...you can bake without eggs, use apple sauce instead of sugar, etc...

Oh and dont forget, after two weeks, if you've excercised, you get more points!

the on line thing tracks that too whcih is cool. even laundry and vaccuming counts! It'll tell you how many points you earn with excercise.

Due to some serious financial constraints on the c-card, I've have to start making lunches from home. My problem is eating healthy food with double the amount of portions in one sitting.

I made a vegetarian whole wheat pasta lasagne (sp?) and cut it up into 9 portions.

Still my worst offence is in the AM. I always buy an turkey and swiss coissant, but it is just filling enough for me to hold out until lunch. I tried having whole grain cereal with soy breakfast patties, but it still does not cut it for me. Lunch I used to go to the cafeteria and the portions they serve you could get lunch and dinner out of it if you really wanted to. Dinner I would be too pooped to cook and not at altogether. In reality, eating regularly and consistently has been a real problem.

So, here is the goal for myself this week since I know if I try to change too much I'll just say, 'fuck it' in the end.

Instead of using our large stoneware dishes to eat off-of use the smaller dishes. If I need a snack, eat an apple.

B'fast: I can have one Turkey/Swiss Coissant or a bowl of cereal and one egg.

Lunch: One Lasagna portion and a small salad. A light sprinkling of parmesan OK, no salad dressing

Dinner: Cous Cous, Soy or chicken sausage (1 link only), and a green hot veggie.

I hate water, so I will try to have at least one glass of water a day flavored with apple juice. If I want more I will have more. Exercise-wise, I have no time. Period. But if I can put about 15 - 20 per day in cleaning my house, my DH will be one happy camper!

Current Weight: 130
PP Weight: 105
Goal: 110

Next week I'll have loftier aspirations Mr. Green

Hi guys. I'm joining in kind of late here, but I NEED this thread! I still have about 18 pounds of baby weight to lose (and the baby is 5 months old). Plus, I was already a good 15 -20 lbs overweight before I got pg, so my goal is to lose 30 to 35. And, I'm going to be my sister's matron-of -honor at her wedding in Sept so I need to lose as much weight as possible by April so I can get fitted for a dress and not cry sad11
I had great success with WW before I had Michael, so I recently joined WW online and it's going well so far.

I'll post with goals for next week on Sunday or Monday...hope ya'll are having a good weekend!
