After 4 years of hearing tests and fighting drs, tubes, and whatnot, Avery is officially diagnosed with significant hearing loss in his left ear. I could have told them that years ago. He has 93% hearing in his right ear, but only 29% hearing in his left. I'm not sure if he will have a hearing aid, or an fm amplifier or nothing until he is older. But at least I know I'm not crazy!

Wow, that is crazy it took so long to get a simple hearing loss diagnosis!! How is he doing now?

Wow, well once they get him fitted with something, then things should get better for him pretty fast! Poor guy, going all this time not hearing well!

Well, I'm glad you got some answers that confirmed what you thought. Now at least you can move forward and maybe he can get something to help! Geesh...four years.
