Just trying to get some threads going here. Do you have a favorite layout? Either yours or someone elses?

This is my favorite layout, mainly because of the journaling/story behind it.

And I like person's this one because it is weird:

This isn't my layout, but I just LOVE it...

I reviewed my old scrapbook and it looks so lame now! Man, I have a lot to learn to get up to snuff!

I'm baffled by the twopeasinabucket lingo. I can't figure out half of what they are talking about. Do you need some special software program to do that font work? Some of the stuff looks much more complex than Word. ??

Hmm...I can't get a direct link, it just takes me back to her album. The one I love is the one all the way to the right, third one down, "O precious one we love you so" or somthing like that.

I love the layout you did of Anna in the sunglasses at the beach (building castles in the sand), so bright and cheerful! The flip flop page is so cute too!

Wow. she had some cool pages. She is using the computer for a lot of stuff, and she is buying those vellum quotes on sticker paper.

Once I settled into 2Peas and made myself cozy I realized that that poster I was referring to above is a Garden Girl. That's probably why I couldn't direct link to one of her pages, but rather routed back to her albums.

I just did this one last night:Yum

I actually pulled out deco scissors for it! Shocked Razz I could hardly believe it, but I liked the touch it added to the tag. Apparently they are supposed to be coming back in style. LOL! We will see I suppose. Wink

Ah, Jess! You are soooo missing out!

I'm loving scrapbooking now! There is so much awesome stuff out there. Beautiful paper and cardstock. Lovely ribbons and fun embellishments.

I am so hooked.

I love scrapbooking too. I had a goal to get all caught up this summer on our family album and the kids albums as well.

I got Molly and Jack's albums completed up to May, so not too bad.

I tend to do really simple "get it done" pages. Slap some paper as a background, crop and add the pictures, write a few sentences and I am finished. Onto the next page! I have some friends that to fantastic work though, it's like art. But, most of them are still working on scrapbooks from 2 years ago and I want to be current so I can remember what the heck was happening in each picture!

My new fave scrapbooking toy is the red-eye eraser from Creative Memories. Love it!

Ew. I could have done quite well not ever knowing that. Blech!

Annie, I noticed in a CM catelog that there is also a Pet Eye reducer pen, to get rid of that weird hollow glassy look that shows up so much in pictures. I just don't get how those things work. I use the red-eye eliminator on the computer to fix digi pix and it's always worked very well.

So do you do CM scrapping? That is NMS, but I really like their tools. Their personal trimmer thing is the best there is and I just got the self healing mat with circle stencils. The corner rounder and scissors will be on my stocking-stuffer wish list for Cmas. Very Happy I'd love to get the square and circle punches too, but I don't think I'd really use them often enough to make it worth the $$$. There is just so much scrapping stuff I want. I'm lusting over a Sizzix. Confused

There's actually a lot of cool stuff you can do with the CM square and circle makers, if you just play around with them. I've found them to be really awesome tools and definitely worth the money.

Especially the square one.

Well, I kind of do my own thing really, get my own paper and stuff. But I like the CM tools too, the imitation tools I have purchased at Michaels really suck in comparison. Rolling Eyes There is the prettiest light pink CM album that I am lusting over but I cannot justify spending $36 for that thing when I can get the same exact thing (but not pink!) for like, $18 at Michaels with a coupon.

I'm lusting over a Sizzix.

A what? I havent heard of it! Do tell........

Do you guys that scrapbook do a separate album for each of your kids, if you have more than one child? I am doing that and it is making so much more work for me!!!!!!!!
