So if I made it through a day in a thong that included a running a 10K and getting a pantyliner stuck on my ass (ah, the lady business), then I don’t want to hear about your poor chafed butt cheeks.
And really, a pair of chafed butt cheeks should be the least of your worries.
*cue whipping sound*
I actually found running in thong pretty comfortable, other than the fact that my butt was pretty cold without that extra layer. And really, it didn’t start to get annoying until later on in the day. Unfortunately, between my lady business and my husband’s business (travel), there was no business to be had, but I did feel like a bit of a bad ass walking around in my thong.
Now I realize wearing a thong isn’t necessarily going to shoot your libido through the roof, especially if you find them to be uncomfortable or you already wear them all the time anyway, but it’s a good start. I usually only wear them with certain outfits or as foreplay (ha), so wearing one just on just a regular occasion was definitely different.
I felt like I was 19 again.
Except for all those kids running around.
I always seem to feel more together when I’m wearing pretty underpants, even if I’m still wearing yoga pants and a t-shirt.
And I love that a few of you went all out and ordered new thongs, and even added a matching bra into the mix. There’s just something sexy about the bra and underwear combo, perhaps because it’s such a rare occurrence.
[Note: Victoria’s Secret is starting their big semi-annual sale today. Heidi Klum and her bodacious bosoms told me so yesterday].
You made it through Challenge #1, and with impressive gusto from many you I have to add, and hopefully you’re gearing up for Challenge #2. Tonight is your naked sleepover. Or your nursing bra sleepover (for you breastfeeding mamas).
Of course, I realize that a few of you ladies already do a few of these things on a regular basis, which hello, is pretty impressive.
So, appreciate your “head of the class” status, and keep coming back for more. We’re just getting started.
For tomorrow we’ve got Challenge #3: Read an Erotic Romance.
Now I realize (oh, do I ever) that especially for you moms out there, reading is pretty tough to fit in. I have trouble finding time to pee, let alone read a book.
However, it is important to keep your mind fresh before it turns to jello thanks to being around kiddos, and even better, reading an erotic romance can do a few other things to:
1. Like watching porn, these sexy stories can give you some ideas for honing your own bedroom skills.
2. They’re a great way to passively engage in your fantasies, no matter how weird you might think they are (Gay vampire twins with a shoe fetish? I’m pretty sure they’ve got something like that out there).
3. They get your mind thinking sexually, which is pretty helpful when you’re struggling just to think in general.
And best of all, you don’t even need to go to a bookstore to snag one. I know you’ll miss the cheesy cover art, won’t you?
Now I’m a big fan of Ravenous Romance (which is actually founded by a mom – who also happens to be the one behind getting the Mominatrix book up and out there) which offers a ridiculous amount of erotic romance ebooks with every single type of story line possible at ridiculously cheap prices.
Right now you can download an ebook for less than $2.
If you don’t want to spend any money, then check out their free erotic short story, which is the perfect mom on a budget combination. They rotate it every week or so, plus it’s only a few thousand words and doesn’t even cost a dime. I’ve read a few of their free short stories before and they’re extremely titillating.
What’s great about these books is that they’re actually pretty well written. In fact, I interviewed one of their well-known authors and mom Jamaica Layne (not her real name – I was so disappointed) on the Mominatrix podcast (audio link) who happens to write screenplays by “day.”
Just keep in mind that they’re racy. Very racy. So keep young readers out of the room unless you want them to be asking you a bunch of questions later on.
And keep horny spouses away unless you want them to be hornier.
So, take a few minutes tonight or tomorrow to download a book or short story (they’re in PDF format), and then get reading. I don’t expect you to read the entire thing, but I’m guessing a few chapters (or a short story), will do you just fine.
Sadly, I’m having to do Challenge #2 all alone in my bed. I can’t wait to hear about how it went for you all. And if you’ve got favorite places to find erotic romance novels, or have recommendations on specific titles for others, feel free to leave them in the comments.
And if you’re new, welcome! Check out Challenge #1 and join us!
