Your essay took me to the distant past (now I have a 11-year old and a 15-year old). Why is it that men always ask you things instead of just going there and try to help you? Sometimes I just answer: "I don't know, why do you think I should know it?" That makes them think, I suppose. Or not. Well, I simply don't know how their brain works.
Well, this is all to tell you your essay did make me laugh! Please keep on writing.

"Try as hard as we may for perfection, the net result of our labors is an amazing variety of imperfectness. We are surprised at our own versatility in being able to fail in so many different ways." -- Samuel McChord Crothers
