It Takes a City and a State

By Rachael Brownell

Grandparent or paid babysitter? Well, grandparents are generally free and babysitters cost money, so avaricious parents naturally choose grandparents. Those who actually have to use babysitters pay as little as possible (unless they care for their children enough to employ and pay for a qualified nanny) and then complain when things go wrong. Remember- minimum wage = minimum work.
